When mother awoke to a bunch of emails from friends telling her that The Dearly Beloved was mentioned in the NYT. She sent me this email: “Amazing. While we are amazingly proud of you, I am now feeling proud of this book, which has taken on a life of its own. I can’t wait to see what it does next.” Me, too!
